This Privacy Policy explains how iHypeMe handles information when you use the app, website, guided sessions, follow-up prompts, audio playback, waitlist, and related services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, such as your email address, account details, intention, onboarding and session answers, selected guide style and voice, follow-up reflections, ratings, feedback, language preferences, waitlist submission, and support messages.
We may also collect service information, such as app usage, session progress, listening activity, notification preferences, device and browser information, app events, crash data, diagnostics, and approximate usage information.
2. Subscription and purchase data
Purchases are processed by app stores or payment partners. We may receive subscription status, entitlement, trial, renewal, cancellation, and purchase metadata needed to provide access. We do not receive your full payment card number.
3. Personalized session data
To personalize sessions, we may process your inputs and related session information to create, deliver, store, and improve guided text, audio, follow-up prompts, and future session versions. This may include personalization signals such as preferred pacing, language style, and reflection patterns.
4. How we use information
We use information to operate iHypeMe, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, personalize sessions, deliver audio, save progress, show follow-up prompts, send notifications, provide support, prevent abuse, analyze reliability, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Notifications and inbox
If you enable notifications, we may store device push tokens and send follow-up or session-status notifications. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings. The app may also show in-app reminders or follow-up prompts.
6. Analytics
We may use analytics to understand product usage, reliability, subscription flow, session progress, playback behavior, and feature performance. Analytics help us improve the service and diagnose issues.
7. Service providers
We may share information with providers that help us run iHypeMe, including hosting, authentication, billing, analytics, AI-assisted personalization, audio generation, storage, notification, form, and customer support providers. They process information for us according to their roles and agreements.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
8. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve delivered sessions, maintain account and subscription records, support user requests, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve reliability, and prevent abuse. Retention periods can vary by data type.
9. Your choices
You may be able to update account details, manage notification permissions, cancel subscriptions through the relevant app store, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export where required by applicable law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No digital service can guarantee perfect security, and you are responsible for keeping your account and device secure.
11. International processing
iHypeMe and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those locations may have different data protection laws.
12. Children
iHypeMe is not intended for children who are too young to consent to digital services in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us.
13. Not health data by design
iHypeMe is designed as a personal reflection and guided audio product, not a healthcare, therapy, diagnosis, or medical service. Please avoid entering emergency, clinical, or highly sensitive medical information into the app.
